Games in Windows 7...

This trick can be used on any Oberon Media Games... Let me make you understand a bit about how this thing works... When you click on the shortcut of the game, it will open the Launch.exe which is located on the Game's Folder... This Launch.exe is the one which is keeping a track on the programs expiry time... What you have to do is just rename the Launch.exe into Launchy.exe... Then rename the game's application into Launch.exe... You are ready to go.... Now you can click on the normal shortcut to enjoy playing the game, for an unlimited time...

[ UPDATE ] : This option can be used on a new computers / laptops because Oberon Media Games had already provided an update for all Oberon Media Games which comes along with computers / laptops... The update will silently patch the game's executalbe file to automatically keeps a track on its time of usage... So, if you want to perform above trick... Please do it on a new computers / laptops... If it doesn't works, your computer's Oberon Media Games most probably have been updated...

It doesn't work on my computer, Acer updated it's games with a patch. The patch is still there even after I reset my laptop to factory defaults. So sorry guyz if above info does not solve your problem...

Logging into your profile with speed...

This step is quite simple... After you've logged in your profile, remove as many file folder, shortcuts or files that is in your desktop and reorganize it into another file folder... If possible, there should be only two icons in your desktop; Recycle bin and another folder which contains all these files that previously kept in your desktop... If you can, keep that folder in another hard disk drive and keep a shortcut of it on your desktop... Believe me, it will reduce the time needed to log in to your desktop...

Updated on  29 January 2012 :

Install this program - "Startup Delayer by r2 Studios". This program can delay the startup of some programs after you log in, resulting in a faster response rate of your computer. I installed this on both my laptop and my desktop. I can open windows media player and some folders right after logging in my profile. Always remember to configure how your "Startup Delayer" should work. Just give it a try, maybe it will perform more better on your computer...

How to speed up your pc...

You can speed up your pc without downloading and installing any utility programs... It's simple, just follow these easy steps... There are three built-in Windows utility programs you can use to speed up your pc... These programs are Disc Cleanup Utility, Check Disk Utility and Disk Defragmenter Utility... Well, to get the most from these, you should know how to use it in orders...

First of all, go to 'My Computer' and right click on your main hard disc drive(usually C:\) and click on 'Properties'... A new window will appear... On the 'General' tab, you should see all of the basic information about that hard disc drive... You should notice that there is a small button(Disc Cleanup) at the 'Capacity' section... It will calculate the space that this utility will be able to free and this will take some time... After that, a new window will appear and check all of the checkboxes in the 'Files to delete:' section... After you checked all the checkboxes, you can click the 'OK' button
(Be careful to not delete any data that you need. For safety precautions, you can view the files which is inside the Recycle Bin by clicking on the 'View Files' button under the 'Descriptions' section)... Then, a confirmation window will appear and you just need to press the 'OK'(Do this only if you want to perform this action)... Disc Cleanup Utility will clean any unnecessary files... This might take some time... After it deleted all the unnecessary files, the window will close automatically... Do this another time for the same hard disc drive... You can do this for all other hard disc drives you have...

The second step of this process is defragmenting your hard disc drives... You can navigate to Disc Defragmenter window by two ways... The first one is by Start Menu... Click Start\Control Panel\*Performance and Maintenance*\Administrative Tools\Computer Management\Storage\Disc Defragmenter... The second one is quite simple... Go to 'My Computer' and right click on your main hard disc drive(usually C:\) and click on 'Properties'... Navigate to 'Tools' tab and under 'Defragmentation' section, click on 'Defragment Now...' button... A new window will appear and all you need to do now is click on 'Defragment' button... This process also take some time to complete... After it is done, you may defragment other hard disc drives...

The last step is the simplest one... Go to 'My Computer' and right click on your main hard disc drive(usually C:\) and click on 'Properties'... Navigate to 'Tools' tab and under 'Error-checking' section, click on 'Check now...' button... A new window will appear... You should check the 'Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors' ... The above one is optional because the result will be same either you check or not... Then, click 'Start'... This process also a time consuming process...

Another altenative
way to improve your pc speed is uninstalling any unused programs...

Give your Facebook a new look...

Boring with the same look of your Facebook??? Well, there's a way to make it look better... First of all, download Mozilla Firefox (it works in Google Chrome too)... After you completed this first step, it's time to get some add-ons... Go to 'Tools' in the menu bar and click 'Add-ons'... A new window will appear... In the window, navigate to 'Get Add-ons' type 'Stylish' in the search box... It will take some time to find that add-on, depending on the speed of your internet connection... The add-on will appear on that window and all you need to do is just click the 'Add to Firefox...' button... You are almost there... Now, restart the Mozilla Firefox and you will find a new button '[S]' on the bottom right corner of your browser... Now, log in to your Facebook account... Then, click on the [S] button and click on 'Find styles for this site... You will be redirected to another page (userstyles.org) where you can find a lot of styles for your Facebook account...

This style is visible to you only, not to the other facebook users, even your friends...
